Tuesday Folders
Graded school work will be sent home every Tuesday. Please sign and return the following day.
Homework
Vocabulary
Vocabulary is reviewed extensively in class. However, please review the words with your child to ensure that they are ready for their test each Friday.
Spelling
Students will receive 12 spelling words each Friday. Their test will be the following Thursday. I highly recomend that you use the app/website SPELLING CITY to have your child practice their words.
Math Facts
Please have your child practice their multiplication and division math facts. They will have a timed test adminstered to them 2-3 times a week (not taken for a grade).
Reading
Each child should be reading at least 20 minutes each day. This can be done independently or aloud. Have your child record the title, author, pages read and a parent signiture on their reading log.
Math
Math homework will be completed on Edmodo. Please watch the video below to get a clear understanding of The Flipped Classroom Model. Students will be required to watch a 3-7 minute video and answer/submit 1-4 questions.
